What!? Italian food bland? Spices are fine but I think whoever thinks Italian food is bland has their taste buds burned by so much spice.

Your recipe was excellent. I substitued the mushrooms for broccoli and carrots, sauteed them in olive oil and garlic, and then a dash of red wine. Everything came together. Thanks for the tips !

Hello Ladies, I made this yesterday and my roommate loved it, said it was the best ever. I did add some fennel seeds to it. I also took some for lunch today and brought extra for our secretary. I can’t wait to hear what she has to say about it. I am having leftovers tonight as well. YUM YUM!!! Patrick

@warwoon : Yes, you can. The foil trays tend to be very thin so we suggest that you cook the lasagna in the middle of the oven so it does not burn too fast

Fresh garlic may not cook properly in the ricotta cheese so we use powder. You can use fresh garlic with the spinach.

@greendaypilot : hope we are not too late in responding,
zucchini might make the dish soggy. We personally
have never tried using zucchini but if
you do, please let us and other viewers know your
experience.

Before I go and make a crappy dish, what do you think of adding zucchini and eggplant to the entire recipe you’ve provided? Too much?
I’m more of a meat eater, but I’m planning on cooking for a vegetarian group soon.
